Clark Marathon

Yesterday, the Clark Marathon was won by a Kenyan runner. I was just a few paces behind him...JOKE! One senior runner ahead of me attempted a we-are-the-world tete-a-tete while I was huffing, puffing and struggling my way through the race. I gave him a forced smile and sped ahead.

congratulations!

wow, serious runner, huh? did you go for the full marathon?

i remembered a few years back i joined my first ever half marathon here in SG. I made it to the finish line but my last 7 km was a nightmare due to my knee injury! Every year thereafter, I always plan (and never get to execute) to join a full marathon. Don't know when this would materialise. :) Maybe, before 40! hahaha

you should join, the Standard Chartered Marathons, they have one in Singapore, Hongkong and dont know which other countries. As usual, it is the Kenyan runners who won!

Btw, I participated in the 10K category as there was no 21K. The full marathoners started running at 4:30 a.m.! and some of them were still at it by the time we were already going home!

For now, a full marathon is a dream muna hehehe
